I like the turtle a lot - maybe bring something like a dark coat or whatever to reduce the reflection of the glass but overall the idea works really well.

It's funny - i sat on safari with my frustratingly tempramental fuji finepix during the summer and the closest thing i came to a shot of a cheetah was a hindquarters squatting in the brush. Cork here i come...

Seriously though, nice use of your camera, nice bokeh

Good detail in the lemur photo, could be better framed imo, but I know it can be hard to do that with animals moving etc.

In the cheetah one, did you do any retouching? I can see an odd moire pattern in the background that could either be a strange distortion caused by the lens in out-of-focus objects, or the removal of a wire mesh fence in Photoshop. Having said that, the detail in the fur of the animal is so good I feel I could touch it.

    Keep it up.

Personally i think the turtle is best, detail is great.

My least favourite is the abstract effort mainly becuase abstract photo's get on my effin nerves. You should stick to life photography, you obviously have a knack for it, leave the abstract to the art students!

I took the cheetah photo from behind a wire fence...obviously.I use a sigma 28 to 300 lens and it was hand held, but I squatted down and used a outer wooden fence to steady the camera.I did not toush it up,except to down size it for the web.
Regarding the turtle shot,it was taken at the zoo near figeratus on costa del sol...so having a coat of any type during the mid afternoon heat is out of the question.
I probably shot half a roll for the turtle and the cheetah got over two rolls and the leamurs another roll.I allways get the cheetahs to look at me by making cat noises or whistling, anything to get their attention.
Thank you for the comments..keep them comming.
