I was hopng to watch prison break (and house) and I don't have 5, I've got bored of ER, when west wing back on terrestial.

werent RTÉ only a few weeks behind HBO last time as they had the whole series made already

My 3 recommendations there are (from what i've seen):

'My Name is Earl' (Ch4)- best new comedy of the season!
'Prison Break' (Five)- best new drama of the season, no question!
'Lost'- RTE TWO- after one or two rocky episodes, it's become excellent again!

'Bones' is apparently doing the best of the majority of the new series in the States but quickly tired of it after just two episodes and David "one expression" Boring-Anus! (like that? I thought of that myself... see, it's a cheap shot at Boreanez!). Had some good music in the first episode though.

i have oinly seen 2 episodes of My Names Is Earl and i recommend it highly

Prison Break is brilliant, any Irish channels got the rights for that?

Prison Break is definitely my number one aswell. Pity it's only on Five, most people here won't get to see it.

As for Night Stalker, Fox canceled this show (for the second time) at episode 6, so there's really little point in getting into it, it's a dead end. Pity, I started watching it from the old cousins recently. Fox also canceled Killer Instinct at episode 9, which was OK but not great.

I've also started watching Invasion, and I have to say I quite like it. It's certainly better than Threshold, though it is on a very similar theme.

Then of course there's always Lost, though I am a little dissappointed with season two. I guess it was always going to be hard to live up to season one, we'll have to see how it goes after the mid-season break is over.

I know, the last few seasons have been lackluster @ best but it's just a bit of light hearted fun, so does any1 have a startdate for S8 of Charmed on Living.

Edit: Seen a trailer, it's back this Friday.

Shown on the Sunday night on HBO and then 9 days later on RTE2... Wasn't on any of the Uk stations until it had finished its run here, if I remember correctly
