Letting: Who's responsible?

    I'm renting a house off a friend of a friend.
    It's furnished and lncludes fridge, cooker, microwave etc.
    Who's responsible if the cooker stops working?
    Do I have to replace it or does the landlord?
    It's a casual arangement

    normal ware and tare = landlord
    damange = tenant

    What is wrong with the cooker, is it possible its just a blown / tripped fuse?
