And then consider BitComet? Doesn't gobble all your resources like Azureus...:v: :v: :v:

I'm on a Mac, so I got less choice than you guys. But TomatoTorrent is the biz!

Forget Azureus use www.utorrent.com only 115KB, the best client around at the moment.

I'm using Azureus at the moment, downloading something with hundreds of sources but keeps going from 20k right back down to 3k where it stays 99% of time. So annoying. I've been downloading since Friday night, still only 50% done (4gb file size)

Can't get anything in Azureus to go past that speed no matter what I fiddle with.

MobileInfantry, it sounds like you need to set up port forwarding and firewalls. No torrent should be that slow unless it only has 1 seeder who is on 56k. go to www.portforwarding.com and get yourself set up. Leaving a pc on to dl a file that slowly is gonna cost you a lot in electricity!

Do you guys mean www.portforward.com ? cos portforwarding.com doesn't seem to work when I click your links.

Also remember to limit your upload speed. Not great for the torrent community but theres no option when we're stuck on our broadband pakages which a sh1te upload speeds. I have 2mb/128k and i limit the upload speed to 6-8k.

I often get torrents going at over 100k (assuming lots of dl'ers and seeders)
