There is a shop called www.camireland.com They might seem dodgy but it's cash on delivery payment, and I have known of ppl to get cameras from them without a problem. It's exclusive for irish ppl only, and they are a german company.. maybe try them? maybe?

at this stage you'd do well to get it by christmas from a mail order company unless you use pixmania possibly but I have heard about a few people having bad experiences so I think if you wanna buy in a retail shop here then you're gonna be stung for €1000. That seems to be the price across the board here

For yourself or for someone else? You could surely wait 'til the 27th and Dixons or Currys'll have some silly-money reduction...?

you don't need a credit card to shop online with the new thing from permanant tsb

    https://www.3v.ie/

A 3V Voucher is a disposable 16-digit prepaid VISA debit number issued by permanent tsb in association with VISA.

The 3V Voucher can be used by anyone aged 16 years or more and who has the use of a mobile phone to shop on the Internet, over the telephone or through mail order wherever the VISA logo is displayed. It can be used to make any number of transactions up to the monetary value of the 3V Voucher purchased and, when the funds are all spent, you just throw it away.
