    Hey,

I have never had a problem with TV-out on any of my PC's when I used ATI graphics cards. Until now.. With this nVidia 6800GX and my Ti-4200 on 1 of my other PC's. The TV out is always black & white.

Does anybody know how i can get it to come out colour, I just dont understand nVidias options and can't see anything about Colour or why it is black & White.

I have tried using S-Video, Composite out into A scart adapter. ( Yellow - Scart ) I have tried 6-7 Cables, They all just go black and white on both my PCs When I try, So its not the cable's. Unless I am using wrong cables. Whats the best cable to use ? Driver problem mabe ?

I really need to get this sorted. I need TV-out for some function this week and I cant get it to work.

Anybody know whats up here ?

    I really appreciate the help,

    Hj

Make sure it's set to PAL and not NTSC... fiddle around, I think we're on PAL_I (anyone?)

Yea thats fine, I have it on PAL, same as usual. Black & White.

I heard a mention of switching it onto Colour Rgb output, That make sense to anybody ?

    Any more ideas ?

    Try this:
PAL B or PAL G and Color saturation = max

Sounds like you're using PAL SECAM (french system), which normally will produce a black 'n white image on your average Irish PAL-I telly.

Something Essentially Contrary to the American Method.
Yeah check the output format - on some on board cards and laptops the setting may be in the BIOS - choose PAL UK instead of PAL EUROPE - the main difference is in the sound channel which shouldn't matter.
    PAL/NTSC/SECAM
