In all honesty though while the Lidl sat meter will work fine the (ridiculously loud) beep it makes is liable to drive you nuts

For the sake of your hearing/sanity I would recommend spending a few extra quid on one of these out of maplins or off Tony (satellite.ie)

And no I dont own shares in either

That's the kind I have. Cost me £20 (stg) from UK a few years ago.

I wouldn't mind the loud beep on a very windy day. Though I might not go up a ladder.
