Quick Chess v2.5

    Hey,

    I find that Quick Chess 2.5 is a nice small .exe to carry around and free (well beerware! :) Anyone have other recommendations or perferences. Another one is FreeChess 6.36 but I haven't tried it yet.

    pawn is ok although there is rather little variety in the program's gameplay.
    just downloaded karpov3dchess for my phone. the 3d is annoying and unclear would have been much better to have a 2d option. Don't know what the ai is like yet.

    The AI in that phone-based chess game is pathetic, and somewhat slow, even at the highest level.

    Can any of you guys consistantly beat Quick Chess on Hard ? Ive only started playing Chess about a week ago and ive beaten it a few times on easy and maybe 2 times on hard. Just wondering if its a good AI.

    Also can anyone recommend a not so quick version with perhaps an advanced AI ? I like getting in over my head and learning to swim :)
