you should avoid cheap discs. i had some data on cheap discs that self-erased after a year

have a look in this thread on the cd freaks forum ,JUST REMEMBER FLASHING YOUR DRIVE CAN KILL IT

and a note for any one in cork , the new harvey norman shop in cork have not got their act together regards pricing on some items , i got 100 verbatim dvd r+ for 35 euros (at least half price )
