USB Problem

    Ok,

Here's the thing, my computer has failed to recognize my Zen when i plug it into the usb port, i've tried this on another computer and it works fine, so there is a problem with my pc.

I've uninstalled all the creative software and reinstalled it, same problem. I don't think it's a problem with the port itself, as i have something else plugged into it all the time and that works. It's also not a problem with the cable itself.

I've tried it in the other ports but it doesn't work either. When i click on the ''unknown device'' properties, it says there are no drivers installed for the device, but i don't know if there are supposed to be any drivers installed.

Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

    Thanks

    Win XP Pro

How do i find out about the 2.0 or 1.1?

It's the latest version of creative software if that's what you mean?

Enusre all creative software has been removed (system Restore?).
Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc (To open device manager) -> down the bottom, remove USB entries. Reboot. Install software. Reboot. Attach Zen.

right click on the Unknown Device and update the driver manually..
    direct it to c:\windows\system32\drivers\VolSnap.sys
