I have a singing audition coming up in January, I know its a while off yet but apart from picking what to sing and practicing my arse off, is there some big secret ritual of preperation I should be doing? What can I do between now and then…

Hi

Probably in the wrong forum, but how do people feel about the audition process?

I have a singing audition coming up in January, I know its a while off yet but apart from picking what to sing and practicing my arse off, is there some big secret ritual of preperation I should be doing? What can I do between now and then to prepare my voice etc.?

Stupid questions but I've never auditioned for anything before and want to know for myself that I did my best even if I don't get it.
