Hey,

Right here's what happening... I've got about 80 emails from all different people stored under one 'label' in my GMail account and I want to be able to email all these people at once. Any quick way of doing this?

reply to all? Appears when you click "more options" on the right when you view a mail.

Not sure, but it might work.

Thanks for the suggestions lads but those don't work. I don't think there is any way to do it... looks like I'll have to email all one-by-one.

Seems there's no obvious way to make groups of contacts other than hit the Contacts button and put a check beside each one before hitting the Compose button on the Contacts page.

You could always set gmail up with your mail client, then set up a group there.

gmail has just added a group function, so you can send mail to all people in the group http://mail.google.com/mail/help/about_whatsnew.html. only spotted it this morning!

wow, this is brilliant i am so happy to be able to help here for once,

here is what you do, make a new contact and in the contact name. Now you know the way that you have 2 text boxes, one for the name of your contact and another for the e-mail address,

well, put in the mailing list name, so lets say that it is called MailingList, now in the place that you put the email address, its messy but here is how you do it, when you look at a name in gmail it is like this,

myname <myname@gmail.com>

ok, but you never put in the < >, gmail does that, so when making your email address for your mailing list, you do the following,

myname@gmail.com>,<myfriend@hotmail.com>,<dad@gmail.com

now of the 3 email above note how there is a comma between the > <
make sure to put those in, but also, make sure not to have a < at the beginning and not to have a > at the end of your addresses, reason being, gmail puts these in itself... this does work if done properly, and is a messy fix to what is otherwise nearly a perfect mailing system
