Anybody else feeling under the weather lately? I don't know what kind of dose is going around, but I can't seem to shake it, some days I'm ok, next day it's back. Been on and off for nearly 2 weeks.

Maybe I have S.A.D. and that's making me feel I have no energy. I guess it's a contributory factor, but I'm hearing a lot of other people complaining of getting worse colds/ailments these days - especially lately.

All this tiffing with Pighead is taking its toll and putting pressure and tension on your already fragile love hate relationship. Go talk to him. Let him know how you feel.

    It's an odd phrase that...

Can one ever feel 'over the weather'?

No, but you can be 'over the moon', I guess all the stuff in between isn't really worth a saying of it's own.

i get that all time. In summer im full of energy and sufer from insomnia only sleeping bout 4 hours a night but im winter im always wrecked and sleep constantly it drives me mad. I get so depressed looking out an dthe cold and dark but if its sunny out im in great form.
i know people say sunbeds are bad for you but I find they really help with this or you can get a fake sunlight lamp they have them on ebay and in some health shops. or if you have the moola to go on a sun break that helps too!.
i get really bad sore throats everytime the season changes from summer to winter im finally getting a reffereal now to an ENT

I had the whole 2 week bug, which technically isn't actually a bug. I just get them feckin headaches that only hurt when you cough or sneeze.

Or the you wake up feeling sick, go through the day look forward to coming home to sleep but your no longer tired...or sick. Thats so irritating.

Oh and then theres the whole sneezing frenzy... that lasted a while.

Or when your feet become extra sensitive, ie if its warm it overheats the whole body so you can't concentrate and become agitated or if its cold your feet send the horrible feeling of indescribablness (I realise thats not a word and that it makes no sense) through you body.

And lets not forget the creek in the neck.

Well thats my 2 week sickness. Oh and I do Love Christmas.

Thats depression , maybe PI or your local doc is a better place to discuss this?

Meh it's nothing really, just adding up all the small things.

I had to sing "Feed The World" with three sixth years today for school carol service, despite the fact that when I had to sing solo for practice yesterday, I coughed for the next hour...can you overdose on Athsma inhaler??
And even thought feeling crap is an excuse to pan out in front of the tv, I can't watch whatever crap I want, I have to tape the damn Late Late show and our video aerial is banjaxed...its taking over the sky box!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭lilmissprincess

And NEVER count the small things. Especially not if listening to anything by Coldplay, Sinead O Connor or Boyzone ( don't ask). Or "Good Riddance", for that matter. It makes you start tehg whole crying thing where you can't stop, and then you get all depressed and get cold symptomns..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,805 ✭✭✭Setun

Jeez you ok Lilmiss? Chin up and all that.

My headache is still attacking my skull and its not nice.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 278 ✭✭Niall123

Of course you can overdose on an inhaler

Ok so this guy done it to get high but the point is it could happen

I agree completely with the depressing music while your sick (except boyzone). Just makes you worse and happy music just pisses you off. Anything neutral?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭lilmissprincess

Yeah, but the inhaler didn't work...thought I had croup at 1am...great.
Yeah, I just don't concentrate on why people seem to hate me. That keeps me happy-ish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭lilmissprincess

And why do you disagree on Boyzone????

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 278 ✭✭Niall123

Maybe you're concentrating on a subject from the wrong angle.

Oh and I just don't like boyzone.
