    Hey Guys,

It appears I "may" have a wee surplus in my budget to afford an LCD (she who must be obeyed's approval notwithstanding!), was in Sony Centre on monday, looking closely at alot of LCD's the quality varied massively and I'm not overly impressed by even the most expensive ?

I'm confused and would love to hear of any recommendations of makes, models & prices / web buy that could ease my dilemma ?

    Thanks.

    FBP.

Tis tough to choose alright... Generally lcd's won't look their best in shop displays because the TV feed into them (split between however many tvs the shop has) is rubbish.

If i was in the market for an LCD i would certainly look at getting a HD-tv ready one. Call it futureproofing. For €1000 id say the max size you would be able to get is 26", Pixmania seem to have a good selection around that price range Click Here]

See what you think anyway, blutonic is probably right this would get better reponse in correct forum

VERY TRUE! they look brutal down in power city. not just the split signal but interference from all the stuff in the place too. Best is to ask them to put a DVD on, and turn off the surrounding ones.
