just curious who, on here went to the grove?

what were you? rocker, thrasher, cure head, mod etc....

    when was your era?

has anyone been to the reunions? going to to the christmas one?

i was there between 1991 and 1995 and was a thrasher, although we always missed the thrash hour, trying to skull 4 cans of warm beer in the ann's before hand.

I was a "thrasher" with megadeth t-shirts and long hair etc. But I only went a few times as my mates were all older and stopped going just after I started :(
Not sure about the reunions I mean what sort of losers would be at it??

I would have gone once or twice around the 94/95 period too.

I quickly upgraded myself to going to Phiber McGee's

My cousin took me there once bout 1986 , but had taken me a pub called the nep beforehand so was p*shed & not let in. Think I was 16 the time. From what I remember there was a park nearby where all the drunk kiddies went to fall around.

I was hippy and still have the long hair.
THe reunions are strange as the age crowd is so varied.

I went 91-2. The compound has fond memories. The current lot is run by a guy who was around during my time. Really funny to see some of the old gang and how people change but not massively.

Had to sneak in the last time as it was all sold out so it was just like the real thing:D

Went from about 88-91 or so. Cure Head. Man, that place was a kip. The Lawn was much better, mainly cos it was right next to me.
