Im definately there! We went the last two years and its just class. Definately the best festival ive been too. you could be right about those bands. Im thinkin (and hopin) tool and deftones will play. and maybe fear factory and machine head. Hopefully the tool album will be out by then. Oh and deftones have been announced for Rock Am Ring so they could be fairly likely. Also, Placebo and Depeche Mode. Maybe they could put them on the Friday if they're goin for that indie thing.

Dunno - it always bears a fairly tight resemblance to Hurricane in Germany (same weekend) which is also a fantastic festival...

im sure she does, but who the hell is this anna person?

Anyway, it looks like Opeth and Trivium should be playin too. Yea its alot like Hurricane but i think the lineup is that bit better. Plus, its three-day now and Hurricane is just two (I think).

I reckon theres a good chance of AC/DC playing and maybe judas priest.....
There also reviving Monsters Of Rock and it's going to be in milton keynes. I'd wager €20 Rainbow with blackmore will headline.........

Where did you hear about the Monsters oF Rock thing? Thatd be cool! I seriously doubt Metallica will do Download, even if they are touring. AC/DC would be cool tho. Theyve been rumoured for years though!

Sure they did download a couple of years ago didn't they? don't see why they wouldn't do so again (although in a more prominent position next time)

Theyve already done it twice. Dont know if many people want them back. If they tour theyd probably do reading instead. It looks like the prodigy have confirmed now.

That Friday "indie day" idea has seemingly been scrapped in favour of a full on rock festival ala Reading and Leeds. It's pretty much England's answer to Germany's Rock AM Ring/IM Park so expect Korn and Deftones to make an appearance.

I'd still prefer going to festivals on the continent though, although All Tomorrow's Parties looks very tempting this year.

Theyve got Metallica now for the Saturday! Wonder who'll do the Sunday so.
