eircom.net mail servers

    i recently reformatted my hd and reinstall my os
    i didnt write dow the mail servers my eircom email a/c was with pprior ro the reformatting
    dow anyone no where i could get my hands on them

    Tis 'mail.eircom.net' for both (POP3 / SMTP) as far as i remember!

    No problems here... just sent a test email to my eircom address from an external account... recieved in seconds.
    Maybe try sending from a different account, or double-check the address you're sending to?

    My da was having issues with his eircom.net mail account yesterday too, I have no issues with my tinet one though.

    Tinet = Eircom..

    .. but e-mailing a Eircom address with either the domain 'eircom.net' or 'tinet.ie' will still reach you.

    LOL - I remember the uproar when they changed over and there was talk of dropping the tinet domain. Years later and being as lazy as sin I still use tinet :)
