    Summary:
    Hurricane Force Gusts
    Blizzard Conditions
7 - 17 inches of Snow in one day
    2 hour long thunderstorm
    Reports of Waterspouts

Just to put into perspective how excited we get when we see any kind of snow approaching, I'm pretty sure even WeatherCheck would think twice about using too many ':D''s given those types of conditions.

This year certainly appears to have been one for the record books as far as extreme weather, or Natural Phenomenon for that matter. In the space of a year we've had, a massive Tsunami caused by an earthquake, another massive earthquake in Pakistan, a record breaking hurricane season breaking much more than one record for that matter.
