Tv card for laptop

    can anyone help me out?
    i got a PCMCIA tv card and installed it. the thing is when i put in the tv cable the picture shows up fine but no sound just static. when i plug in my PS2 its perfect but when i switch back to tv no sound again.

    the thing is , when i switch form PAL-I to PAL-M (ive no idea what this is, i just decided to give it a shot) the picture turns black and white and then the sound works perfectly!

    i really dont know whats up with this ,can anyone offer any help?



    PS: it was bought off ebay and deliver from China so i dont know if that makes a difference

    it should be PAL (Phase Alternating Line)-I, IIRC.
    Is there a seperate cable for sound..?
    show us the card..

    its cool , there was no seperate cable for sound.
    i put in wrong region (germany) at setup by mistake. i just uninstalled and then reinstalled correctly.

    thnx anyway
