    hello,

I need to provide music (recorded, not live) for a large party in a rented venue over the festive season and i don't have a clue about that kind of thing.

Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for.. do I need to hire something? ...and what? ...and where can I get it in Dublin?

    thanks a lot.

There's a place near the Renelagh luas stop that does this.

Oddly enough i think it's called "Sound Hire". (They have amp's, speakers, dual cd players etc, and should sort you out...)

I think there's another place called "Planet Sound" in Bray, but i haven't dealt with them before.

Good luck and have fun ;)

P.H. sound (www.thesoundco.ie) have done a lot of work for me and I've never been disappointed. Reasonbly priced, helpful staff.

All you should need is a PA system and CD player. They'll be able to tell you what type of PA you need depending on the size of the room.
