My m8 wants to bring back a MiniDV camcorder from the US, but is worried about the NTSC (US) and PAL (EUROPE) formats. The Camcorder has Firewire and USB output. Here's the question: Will it be possible to play it through PAL TV/Video? or Will she only be able to capture, edit, then convert it to PAL through the PC and onto a DVD or other media?

It says in the specs that the camcorder uses NTSC (analog) as its video broadcast standard, and there's no mention of PAL. It says its recording media is MiniDV, so a pc conversion should work?
