I have a Canon Speedlite 580 Flash for approx 4 months and i must say I am very happy with it but I have one complaint about it is that when the batteries are running low you have now way of knowing because there is no display on the view finder
I have read the manual insideout to see if there is a way of checking for low battery but I cannot find it or am I missing out on something

don't think there's a readout of low batteries on the lcd anywhere but you can tell as it just takes longer to recharge for the next flash

i always have a few spare sets of duracell ultra AA's in my camera bag

Thanks for putting my mind at ease DotOrg, I taught I was missing out on something (Batt, Display)
