That's Phil Migliarese, also known as magic Phil... not just because his bjj is magic, but also because most people can't pronounce his last name :D

I trained with him for a week in Philly last summer

He emails a technique clip each month to people who sign up to jiu-jitsu matrix.... I think this is just a bunch of them together.

I'll try and post a clip of him competing, sure we have one somwhere...

    Maeve,

Looks like Paul and myself are embarking on a tour to train with any seminar arriving on these shores this year? Gonna be a fun trip and we would like to visit yourself and crew also?
Any seminars on or certification on this year?
I'd like to grade up as a Womens SD Instructor if possible? Even if only to pass it on in class and to civvies in town, I'd prefer trained ladies to victims any day!
If JK brings Paul and Luis over I'll trade him my first born son (he's a lovely little boy!) to train with them! I don't care about titles, I want to carry the tech. onto everybody? Any one got more seminars on? Can we go see?

    Hi Musashi,

Phil (above) and his brother Rick said they'd love to come over for a visit in 2006 and do a seminar... whether it'll come off, I don't know!
Our bjj club is newish and small... so its a money issue too. We do have two classes per week one in Swords and the other in Fairview... everyones more than welcome. We're finished for Christmas now, but back on the 12th Jan.

We just held a WSD instructors certification course in October, so there probably won't be another one till late 2006. Have you had a look at our website to see what it's about? It's not for everyone... we teach women to escape from realistic sexualt assault and rape scenarios...
