ERC Champs 2005: An Underdog?

Having sat in last weekend and watched a lot of Heineken Cup rugby, I seem to sense that this year is going to be very different.

This year, and at this stage, most of the favourites look definitively 'beatable'. This year is going to be the year of the underdog.

The stalwarts: Leicester; Toulouse; Stade Francais etc do not fill me with confidence.

While there are others to watch Sale & Biarritz; what about Munster? Paddy Power at 25 -1 anyone (can't go wrong with each way)?

Please note, this is not an endorsement of Leinster's chances. While a fresh looking team with plenty of latent talent, and an interesting coach, the 'bottle' is just not there. Experience is what will win it in May; something that Munster have in abundance.

and i'd say that whichever out of Toulouse/Biarritz is the winner, is the team that BOD will move to next season

Can't really see either Irish team making the semi finals. Toulouse or Biarritz would be my choice, if they can avoid each other on the way.

I suppose....But tbh, i can see castre winning at home and i wouldn't be 100% sure that Sale won't win in Thomand (heresy i know)
