    Anyone have any bargain car rentals?

    I wanted to rent a car this Saturday (lowest spec sub compact eg. Ford Ka or something) and the cheapest I can get is 140 quid!!

    There's got to be something better out there. Anyone have any helpful info?

    that is daylight robbery!! i normally rent a car when mine is going in for a service and i pay 30 euro for the day, that is with carroll and kinsella in walkinstown. i also have rented in october with hertz for 50 euro for 24 hours.

    just looked at the hertz website and it says from this saturday to sunday a 1 litre car would be 88.80.

    Sorry - I should've been specific.

    I need the car from Saturday morning to Monday morning. Gotta collect a mate from hospital (knee op - thats what ye get when you stand by the door of a club and a bouncer ejects some drunk twat out of the club at knee height) then head to Monaghan.

    Erm. The back story was prob unnecessary but you get my predicament. I needs this car!
