I'm just back from my holidays, and have about 150 digital photos I want printed. And I need 3 sets....

Where is the best place to go?

if you are on broadband try using www.bonusprint.ie I found them good. You just upload yoru photos, give them your credit cards details and the photos arrive a few days later.

... if you order more than 450 prints in an order. A cent cheaper than foto.com if you order between 100 - 249 prints and two cents cheaper if its between 250 and 449 prints.

    Here's their price plan.

Free shipping for upto 100 prints though... :)

You cant beat foto.coms 8x6 photos for price.

They are as cheap as some other companies 4x6 prints even.

I dont like the volume discounts because it just makes you add prints you didnt need to get the price. And then you still end up spending more.

    i've used foto.com and pixdiscount.com
the later seems to be the cheapest, but both are good on service
check which size suits you the best, then look at both for their prices

I'd third it. I've used them a few times and found them excellent. Their 8x6 prints are great for the price.

One word of warning, they don't correct prints for exposure etc (this is a good thing!), so images that look fine on your screen may come out underexposed on the prints as lots of monitors are simply set too bright. Check out QuickGamma http://quickgamma.de/indexen.html which does a fair job of getting the pics to look pretty much the same on screen as on print.

I use one of these for calibrating my monitors

Does a great job. Looks a little dark at first but once your eyes adjust you realize you had your monitor way too bright before.
