Do you or can you relax coming up to the Christmas break?

I have 2 more weeks of my IT office job left for this year. I am then off for two week. Woohoo! We'll probably put up decorations around the office next Monday. It will give the place a needed cheery atmosphere. I'd like to think that we could ease off on the development cycle throttle a bit but that's probably wishful and dangerous thinking.
Do you find yourself winding down as Christmas approaches? I'm interested to hear opinions. :)

Also christmas eve falls on a saturday this year so we don't finish on a half day like last year - at least in our office. Might come in at 6am instead and beat the traffic before the end of the day. :p

Mih, it's just like any other time of the year really... it sounds more like you're looking for an excuse to be lazy.
    Work monkey-boy work. *cracks whip*

It's a funny time though to see the Boss and the HR staff dressed in Santa gear running around throwing sweets and tayto crisps onto our desks! :)

You should tell them to shutup and get back to work.
They can play dress-up on their own time.
    Unbelievable

No chance to wind down as it's extremely busy as always. I even found out today that I have a 10am meeting the morning after the christmas party...
