Ill be there. What a strange time to run a poker tournament, any half normal person is asleep at 2 o clock.

I was going nicely till about 5 o clock when my Queens ran into AA and AK in an 18k pot. I rebought and tilted away in about 20 minutes, how did you get on?

I had a bit of a rocky start when two hands in a row i hit a house and the player in each hand hit a bigger one, very hard to get away from!

rebought and got into the last 16 of the group not sure how my stack is compared to rest of the field now i've about 50k going into today

Stuck in work today so I never bothered going along yesterday - had won the full €100 entry too. What's the story with rebuys though? I thought it was a freezeout?

Nope 1 re-buy or 1 topup at the break

Ah right, just read in another thread that the vouchers can be used in other tournaments, so all's not lost. Good luck later on by the way.

was out at anglers all day, great tournament, dealt a bit of the final table. when it got down to last three everyone was very even. had you won that hand with brian you'd have won it. it really could have gone any way from the last 3. well done though... my mate was at your table when the two full houses got broken, no way you could get away from them.... well done again.

A friend of mine (English bloke - glasses) made the final 10 but got knocked out 8th. His final hand (pocket 9s) he was up against KQ and the King landed on the river.

Anyone at know of any blogs about the tournament, or where I could read an account of it?

He had great praise for the organisers by the way...

Yeah I played with Brian for most of day two he's a very good player he was the only one at the final table I didn't want to have chips but somehow his magic 3's kept holding up

As for the full houses 4k makes that alot easier to forget! :D

Not sure of his second name, Brian, seemed to be well known tho and he's not taken the ticket.

i think his name is Brian Vickers. As far as I know there was a deal done between the last few players so that first was only 7500. I could be very wrong about this but I thought thats what i heard.

Brian Vickers that's him, there was a bit of buisness done all right, firstly there was 450 taken off the top so that everyone on the final table got at least 400e.

    then for top 3 7.5 4 and 4

as far as I know Brian could still take the trip to vegas but would have to to add the 2.5k he had no intrest in the trip anyway, I'm not sure anyway did.
