yeh i'm going, but it's as a consolation as i didn't get tickets to the four scottish gigs they are doing.

    get this.

they play a 400 capacity gig (small for their home gigs) in king tuts.
they play four nights in a row.

first night - blackened sky album (plus b-sides i'd imagine)
second night - the vertigo of bliss album (plus b-sides i'd imagine)
third night - infinity land album (plus b-sides i'd imagine)
    fourth night - new album

They're playing new stuff on these dates too. One of the ones they played last night in Galway was brilliant, but the name escapes me.
    Roll on tonight.

    as dust dances?

    prayer of bybombidor?

    asexual meat kitchen?

    semi mental?

    help me become captain?

    there the ones i heard.

i think prayer of bybombidor was played tonight at tbmc.

the two new songs they played tonight i haven't heard at all.

was a good gig, i got a pissed off abit at the underagers making a circle of death or whatever they are called during the new songs, you know you just want to relax when people play new material.

    UL Cremo haha

I had the luxery of being on the second level over looking the 'whirl pools'.

Was an excellent gig - i recorded about 20 minutes of footage on my phone (2x10 min clips). I was sooooo pi*sed off that they didnt do eradicate the doubt :(

They were seriously rocking tonight, it was a shame there were so many 15 year olds walking around, they definitly ruined the night for me.

Who in gods name were that band with the symbol i!? They were fuking savage! Ended up talking to the bass player for a bit after his gig, and the guitar player was behind us aswell after.

Also, i went to the bar to get a round of beers and the girl behind the bar wouldnt serve me - then a some random chap told me i had to get a wrist band... Worst trip to the bar EVER!

They were iForward Russia! Only saw two of their songs but they were very good.

The wristbands were a bit overboard alright.

Biffy Clyro rawked the place. There was plenty of crowd surfing and some moshing towards the end.

don't mind about the quality at all, that area up there would be nice for recording the whole gig, if only i knew about it.

    Amazing gig. :)

The new song from the Roisin that I was trying to think of was 'Prayer of Bybombidor'. Or at least I'm pretty sure it was.
They didn't play it last night. The new ones were 'Now I'm Everyone' and 'Scared'.
I know an awful lot of people who would have been very disappointed with the absence of 'The Atrocity', as that's usually when Simon loses the shirt. :D
Highlights for me were probably 'There's No Such Thing As A Jaggy Snake' and 'Ideal Height'
That encore was incredible, despite the fact that 'Glitter and Trauma' is the BEST opener EVER.

iForwardRussia are great - can't wait to see them back over next year. Although I think they're one of those amazing lice bands....I've yet to appreciate them on record.

    I missed Papercuts AGAIN.

To be fair, it was an over 14s gig, hence the necessity of wristbands.

Yea man, as i said earlier i was talking to the bass player from iForwardRussia for a bit, and he was telling me how they didnt even get a sound check - im well impressed with that. They were well on key.

The only thing i thought was a little off about them was the singers voice - but it grew on me like a bad rash. Was kind of like the singer from razorlight imo.

I also thought the guitarest from iForwardRussia had some fantastic riffs, i just wanted to pack the bands bags up, put em in my pocket, take em home and have a jam. The drummer was ****ing great aswell - granted 90% of her beats were 1+2+3+4 on the bass drum, but she worked the toms and symbols like second nature. I love the sound they had, and the highhat work was mint. Id go see them if they were the main act for sure.

As far as the biffy recording goes, i dont have webspace, so someone pm me a username/pw/ip and port and ill upload it when i get the chance! (up to me tits in college work atm)

lol i hate those wristband thingy's they never put them on right and they end up with the sticky part out and it always catches on to your arm hair.

red_ice: i have webspace but it's only only college webspace so i can't give out username and password :(, erm you could yousendit or rapidshare it when you have the chance
