The Insurgents are making demands that will not be met by America. All lives are expendable to America's objectives. Insurgents killing security forces that are there to kill them or killing contractors(building capitalist infastructure) that are stealing Iraq's wealth is one thing.

Killing peace activists or aid workers does not advance the Insurgents agenda.
Though I'm sure the Insurgents do not trust them either. Americans have spies everywhere. The prisoners will more than likely be released. The Insurgents will not give the Americans an excuse to paint them as terrorists when they clearly are Occupation resisters.

Innocent civilians should be kept out of the war.

Never gonna happen.... and besides, the Americans have lots of innocent civilians in Camp Delta.

Hmmm, interesting. Does your desire to "keep innocent civilians" out of the war only apply to the insurgents or does it apply to the Americans too?

Tell it to the 30 000 civilians already killed in the hostilities so far.

On the other side of the coin there are the many innocent people the United States are holding prisoner (effectively hostage), the likes of Moazzam Begg was, for up to three years at a time.

An eye for an eye perhaps.

ROFL, they could have avoided that accusation by not taking hostages in the first instance.

I am well aware of Americas crimes. Though it does not give the Insurgents a right to kill innocent civilians.

America will not be left unpunished for its unjustified aggression towards Iraq.

Taking hostages/prisoners in a war is common practice. Killing innocent people is not. The only terrorists I see are the Imperialist Nations.
