    How do I start playing on a specific server, instead of choosing from the list I get. .....Is it a new command line I have to enter ??

    I just use HLSW ...and put in my fav servers in that 1 :)

    If you have the I.P. address of the server, type in the game console "/connect " and then the I.P. address.

    I use xfire, cant beat it imo. Its very user friendly and it keeps a record of servers you've visited recently and if your friends are using it you can follow/stalk them on servers.

    Im just waiting on some one to say they use the DOS command line to connect to servers and launch the game ;p

    installing cod2 as I type.........

    I'm currently in the states but would like to play on some Irish servers...

    any good ones out there?

    you'll probabally get an awful ping on them m8. I always try steer clear of non-uk/irl/germany servers because a high ping is just unbearable.
