ive been having a few problems withdrawing from my ultimate bet account. everyone is telling me to use neteller. but i just opened an account and they say checks and bank transfer is not available in ireland. you can only cash out by bank wire which cost 12.75 per transaction. Is anbody withdrawing with neteller ? seems very pricy to me

the last cheque i got from UB was in euro. They used to be in dollars. there was no mention of it until fedex arrived. There was no exchange rate information and when i checked it out , i found i got a terrible rate. anybody having the same problem ?

What did you lodge money to UB with? Credit card?
I recently lodged money with Neteller but haven't tried to cash out yet.

A good tip for lodging into Neteller so as to save on the 1.9% charge, is to deposit into you're All-In account, and then withdraw out to your Neteller account. Obviously only after playing your 750 raked hands and after signing up to my downline.....:D :D

it doesn't cost 12.75 for a bank wire. it costs 1 unit of the currency your account is in - in my case it costs 1 euro. this is the same for a withdrawal of any amount ie. take out 50 euro and it costs 1 euro, take out 5000 euro and it costs 1 euro.

i withdrew today and thats all i ever get charged
    neteller is great.

thanks for the replys . yes, i did deposit with my credit card. cashed out before by cheque. this was fine as it was dollars, now they are coming in euro with very bad rates.

It is also worth noting that, from my experience UB has the worst customer service. I have been trying to clarify this situation for about 30 hours. they still have not answered the questions.

with regards to neteller, i opened an account today and they told me bank transfers were not available in ireland. every other country in europe is fine (including Turkey ). neteller also said that cheques were not available to ireland. they said i can only cash out by bank wire which costs 12.75.

staringelf, are you based in ireland ?

that's bizarre, i've cashed out by bank transfer to my AIB account (yes, i'm in ireland) many times and as recently as 2 days ago. they're either lying to you (which is a bit strange) or mistaken - get them to check again.

actually, it may be that you have to upgrade your account. there was some upgrading thing a while back. i think there's 3 different levels of account enhanced, premier and something else. mine is premier and i can withdraw fine. could be something like that. i'd check that out too.
but seriously, get back on to them, you CAN withdraw by simple bank transfer for 1 euro to an irish bank account.

You can withdraw, but I don't think can lodge into neteller via bank transfer yet.

neteller were actually lying to me. The first two people swore to me that bank transfers were not available in ireland. they even got aggressive when i suggested otherwise. the third person also said the same thing. after half an hour debate they finally admitted it was available. Then they apolagised but wouldnt give a reason for the lies.

just rang neteller. They said they had no explanation for the information i received. They also said all the members of staff involved will be sent for extra training . cant help feelin that they were trying to get me to withdraw by the most expensive way possible.

that's mad. i've never had a problem with them before. i hope its just a small error in communication internally.

Ye I must say, I'm very surprised by this, Neteller have always been brilliant with their support, the odd time I've got a monkey on the end of the phone, but the problem is always sorted in the end. I'd actually believe that the reps in question will be sent for extra training.....

Usually they're fine but I've had them totally ignore emails I've sent them when one of my accounts was shut down, and their "help" tab on their site doesn't work which wouldn't do much for confidance of new customers.
