    Hi,

Due to recent dificulties here, the following section is being inserted in the T & Cs, effetive immediately:

"The moderator's decisions are final. The moderators are ICDG, Watty and byte, the administrators of Boards.ie also have moderator rights on these forums. DON'T start any thread, the purpose of which is to question a moderator decision. A moderator decision will not usually be taken without reason, and such reason will usually be posted. Any futher corspondance will be via the Boards.ie Private Messaging facility. Any member repeatedly refusing to comply with this section will be issued with a ban from the ICDG forums, at this discretion of the moderator concerned.

Let me be quite clear on this: thread's questioning moderator decisions will NOT be tolerated. You may question a decision should you feel the need via PM, and you will usually recieve a reply. But threads just to question decisions will not be allowed. The first such thread will be locked and any subsequent threads will be deleted and the posters banned.

Just a few words specific to the Satellite forum

For the advoidance of doubt: we have no problem with members discussing foreign FTA services such as Deutsche Welle, 3sat, CNN, or the like. What we have a problem with is people discussing subscriptions to foreign pay-TV services like CanalPlus (or its varients), Premiere World, or Sky Italia. These services are not meant to be viewed here and discussing such services envitably involves discussing piracy. Which is illegal.

To clarify: Any FTA channel or service may be discussed here, but only Republic of Ireland or United Kingdom encrypted services may be discussed.

    Hope this is of help.

    ICDG.
