i,m trying to setup up an old pc,it has old bios .no harddrive autodetect function,so i need to manually input figures for hd cylinder nos, lba, sectors.etc.so .im stuck.is there any prog i can download that will look at hd and give me all the required info to set up the hd.i,v got 3 spare hds,from 4 gig up.pc just to be…

i,m trying to setup up an old pc,it has old bios .no harddrive autodetect function,so i need to manually input figures for hd cylinder nos, lba, sectors.etc.so .im stuck.is there any prog i can download that will look at hd and give me all the required info to set up the hd.i,v got 3 spare hds,from 4 gig up.pc just to be used for cdrom acess and typing.cud i put drive into another pc and get figures from that.i think its a p2 from 94.

Its written on the back of the Hard Drive or google the HD part number and the maker will have the info on their site.
