PPP, why should I bother?

    Reading bohsman post in the bad beat thread got me thinking about PPP and what they offer me.

    An online site that I used to play on just phoned me up and offered me a street whopping great 20% RB despite being widely available at 25%+ on the internet and other skins offering 30%

    I gotta get off PPP.

    All they offer is those paddy points which buy you an entry into a crap shoot. That promo for $101 dollars, which i have already availed of, was good but can only be used once (got the $50 dollar one because i thought you could do it multiple times :mad: ). They got the xmas tournements which is a nice touch... but i really dont see myself walking away with any of those prizes, if I did win it I would consider myself incredibly lucky, similar to the paddy points tournies.

    Theres no rakeback on PPP, which is the main reason why I want to use another site. I prefer a small steady source coming back to me like RB rather than a unlikely chance to win alot, and it happens to me frequently enough that i beat off 500 players just to crash out 20ish off the money. I just feel like I have wasted my time. I only joined it at first because its irish (and accepts laser).
    Why should i keep playing there? It looks like its just a matter of time till I get neteller sorted and PPP have lost a customer. :(

    That said, I've just entered the MTT for the 42" plasma

    Only reasons I can think of are soft competition compared to other sites, and a nice software/interface.

    well said.. these are my sentiments exactly and another thing! quite alot of sites offer reload bonus's aswell as the one off bonus. ppp will have to get on the ball or start losing another cus.

    The software is actually really starting to annoy me. Its FULL of glitches. Sometimes folded cards stay on screen, the other day somebody made a bet and no chips showed up in front of him, the ever present incorrect hand strength on all ins, and now all of a sudden the play window has started freezing. They really need to sort it out.

    They are network specific issues not PPP.

    Yeah, i know, because i play on 2 different skins, but still, something with that much money going through it should be at least a little better designed. Also, laf was talking about tribeca, not PPP.

    See my post regarding ppp and whats the point in staying in other thread. if u like tribeca theres about 30 other poker rooms...ppp gotta do something more for regulars not these freeroll junkies and play-money specialists

    If your signing up with Doyles Room make sure;
    a) your getting at least 20% of your rakeback
    b) you do it with someone you trust

    Using a random code thats posted somewhere means someone else will probably get your RB.
