    I cannot believe that the mods would *Lock* a thread written by one of the most respected, most informative members of this forum. I am referring to the Thread started by Watty, which simply put a topic forward, *IE*why are the threads on foreign based TV services blocked on this forum. What is even more bizzare, is that the thread was closed, *NO* reason was given and as of 06.15 this evening we still dont know which Mod closed the thread :v:

    Its impossible to have a discussion about foregin channels without piracy getting involved in the mix somewhere. Best stay clear tbh.

    If people are looking for information on commonly sought after foregin channels and the means to get them, then maybe one of the members should create a sticky with the useful information. Open discussion will always descend into piracy.

    I find it strange that discussion about getting a card from the UK is allowed (and even in a sticky FAQ), but doing it for other countries is not allowed. It's even been added to the rules that we can discuss RoI and UK systems, but not elsewhere. It is even detailed how to deceive Sky to get a card from them by pretending the card is for someone in the UK. But we can't talk about buying a card for elsewhere.

    What a load of nonsense. there are THOUSANDS of FTA channels available on satellite in fact ifyou live in the Republic EVERY unencrypted satellite signal is technically a "foreign" channel

    Ok... it was mentioned last night.

    If this is so much of an issue to you, PLEASE do not start another thread, approach a moderator if needs be.

    But our actions stand.
