    Howdy,
Anyone know of any wholesalers etc.. around Dublin/environs where you can get a decent discount for buying wine in bulk (a few cases).

The only way I know of is if you have a small business and have a card for a cash and carry or somewhere

My parents run a cafe in Kerry during the summer so I remember going down this summer for a visit and going along to a place in Cahersiveen and walking out with a cheap ass case of Campo Viejo Rioja.

    Yum :)

Most places will do either a bakers dozen deal (buy 12 bottles get one of the average value free) or will give you 12 for the price of 11. Most of these places won't give you the free bottle though if they're already on special offer...

Theres a wine superstore on the Long Mile road. Think I seen a sign they have some special deal going - 10bottles for 45€, not too sure tho.

There are a number of smaller retailers on the continent that will ship to Ireland. I'm pretty sure they are not paying the excise however, so don't know how this might work out. Have never tried myself (just load up my rucksack on the way back.)

    Examples (Spain and Portugal):
