books from the 80's

    Im trying to get hold of some books I read when I was ickle.
    One was a big white story book it had lots of stories in it and pictures. They seemed to be about sprite things that lived in a forest and had morals in the story. One was about a sprite/wisp in the forest wanting to get to the other side of the river etc

    another was a little hard back book same size as the ladybird ones it had a few stories in it. One was all about a grandfather clock. another was about a fish in the sea who was trying to pull the sun into the water.

    mad i know but by any chance does anyone know what im talking about?

    Wasn't one of the Puddle Lane books was it?

    There was a cartoon which had a book accompanying it called Wilo the Whisp in the early 80s.
