I was actually thinking of selling mine. I have a Martin DX-1E, bought it for near 900 pounds back in 2001 I think from Perfect Pitch in Dublin. Spruce top, aged a bit which means nicer sound.I am upgrading to a McIlroy A35c due February. No idea what it is worth now, but it has never been gigged. In great nik!! Just a thought.....not sure though at all...

I've played a DCX1E and its a nice guitar (A friend owns one). You'd probably get along with the Martin mentioned above as its the same without the cutaway. Its stury, sounds very good and plays relly well. Cant go wrong for say €500 - €600. Much nicer thatn many all solid wood guitars at the same price. What type of acoustic sound do you want, whats the usage of the acoustic anyway?
