Aghh! It was pissin rain the other day and I was meeting up with some lads for a jam. I had my strat in its hardcase, which surely would keep it safe. WRONG! When I took out my guitar to jam, i found that loads of water had gotten into my case and the guitar neck was soaked! I dried it with a tissue but I think I was too late. What can I do? Get in contact with fender and scream at them for the crappy case? This is a fairly new guitar, about a year old

A little bit of water shouldn't warp the neck of a guitar!!! Alot of water or prolongued exposeure might though!!

Jptk. You should be allright. It would take more than a journey to a jammin session to warp the neck. The wood would have to soak up the water and the lacquer should have stopped that in the short time. Once you dried it immediately and played a good session(most important :D) you should be OK.

I'd invest in a new case though!

Never leave a guitar outside. NEVER EVER EVER!

I left my Les Paul in it's case in a garage. It felt like **** the next day. Just a little damp but I've learnt my lesson. The guitar is is fine though.
