I bought a Fiat 127 for bits a couple of years ago of a friend,he'd found it in a scrapyard. He didn't have a tax book for it. Its got 127 in the reg and its a 1300GT. How do I get the car into my name if I can't find out who is the last registered owner?

Go to your local Garda station and explain your case, better still if you know a Guard, they'll check the reg for you and will give you the details. Then get a replacment document form fill out the details and apply for a copy of the tax book.
