Drop-down menus in my firefox browser (1.0.6) are transparent. Can this be set to opaque?

No Idea, have you considered going to 1.5 unless your must have extensions really need an older version

I have an earlier version (1.0) at work, and the menus are not transparent, so thought it must be a setting somewhere that I can't find. It's annoying because the menu items are sometimes unreadable when they drop down over other text or images. Will go to V1.5...
