Just bought Let's Get Free for real cheap the other day.

So far so good, haven't got through it all at the mo' but i'm in the middle of it now.

Their very good rappers, although maybe they push the whole political Black oppression thing a little too much but otherwise they sound good.

    Anyone else got an opinion????????

I like them but they are a very political group

I liked their song its bigger than hip hop but the rest of their stuff is just too political they go a bit overboard on it imo.

To me they are not political enough, especially there second album.

Animal To Man was a classic track.

Yeah they are very political but if you over look that and just listen to the Beats and Flows there pretty class, two very talented MC's.

Yeah Hip Hop is a class tune, I'm a african is brilliant too

dead prez are the most anti-establishment, pro-black, militant rap group today no question about it. other other then that dead prez is amazing. lets get free was a very good debut album. turn off the radio mixtape was even better, get free or die trying (working of 50 cents album wordplay) mixtape followed the first volume and then they drop RBG, which in my opinion is one of the better rap albums of 2004. grab them all and then comment please. download "last days reloaded" from the 2nd mixtape to see whats it all about.

What makes you think everyone who commented hasnt. Ive actually only heard their first album and the get free mixtape but even so im pretty sure ive a good idea about them without having to hear the rest. I like them there just a little much for the average listener imo but that dosnt mean their not good.

Very good group overall, political and hard to listen to at times but they have some really standout songs such as Hip-Hop and Animal To Man as mentioned already.

RBG was ok,not close to Dead Prez.Too short and a bit dull frankly.Without the beats that anchored Lets Get Free it shows that as MC's they have a way to go.
