Just looking for pointers on decent travel insurance. Worldwide multitrip preferably. I've used Ace Travel Insurance in the past but it seems to have increased in price to €78 for the year. Any ideas?

VHI do worldwide multitrip insurance for EUR 49, check their website www.vhi.ie

I second the VHI suggestion but you have to have a VHI health insurance plan to avail of the travel insurance.

Are you a member of a Union through Work? SIPTU or Impact or other unions (teachers, etc.)? Brassington Insurance do a deal for members and their families. Think it is around 65 euro. http://www.arb.ie/travel.htm For more details

VHI travel insurance is no good as I don't have VHI. I went with Ace in the end. Cheers for the replies.
