    Right,
The father just called me about ten minutes ago, says he was talking with the owner of Storm Becks, who said the horse is out for a win tomorrow (thursday). The owner told him that the more rain clonmel had today, the better for the horse. And as we all know. Clonmel had a crap load of rain today. It should be around 9/2 or 5/1. Don't go mad on it, I'm only going as high as a tenner, because to be honest - I hate getting tips from owners. Have a look at the race yourselves before betting on this, if you are going to bet at all. And remember, don't bet blindly, and if it loses, don't come after me with ****e covered sticks

He's there all right, Number 20 in the 12:40. Looks to have a decent each way chance. The favourite Dillons Dilemma looks like a strong opponent.

Judging by the state of the ground today I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the racing called off tomorrow at Clonmel, it was more like quicksand than heavy ground.

    All systems go.
This afternoon’s meeting at Clonmel has passed a precautionary 7.30am inspection and will go ahead as scheduled.

Officials made the decision to look at the track after heavy rain fell during yesterday’s meeting.

But drying overnight conditions meant clerk of the course Paddy Graffin deemed the course fit for racing this morning.

“The rain they had there stopped at around 5pm on Wednesday and they have been able to find some fresh ground to use today,” explained Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone.

“They did a spot of repair work yesterday which helped, so thankfully Clonmel has been given the go-ahead.”

The ground is currently heavy for the seven-race card, which begin at 12.40pm.

Finished 3rd, not too bad. Well behind the first 2 though, maybe 4-5 lengths

Ran decently enough and got placed, jockey had him in an ideal position throughout so there's no real excuses although his jumping wasn't too clever.

Aye definately, jockey pulled him out into a great position for a challenge, but nothing came of it. The horse didn't seem to confident at all. Maybe needs a few more runs. No excuses though. Money back.
