Replacing LCD display

Hi, I recently just got a Fuji A350 only to find the LCD smashed about a week after I got it, I left it in my bag, somebody must have kicked it or something. Anyway, if you look at this thread, the op is selling his Fuji. Does anyone know if his LCD display would be compatible with my A350? How would I go about replacing…

Hi,
I recently just got a Fuji A350 only to find the LCD smashed about a week after I got it, I left it in my bag, somebody must have kicked it or something. Anyway, if you look at this thread, the op is selling his Fuji. Does anyone know if his LCD display would be compatible with my A350? How would I go about replacing it? Is it expensive to get a professional to do it? Where could I get it done?

Well according to dpreview.com, the A350 has a 1.7" 117,000 pixel LCD screen, and the A310 has a 1.5" 60,000 pixel screen, so not a hope unfortunately

My mum dropped her camera before and the screen broke on her, AFAIK she brought it back to the shop who sent it on to fuji for her and they fixed it for €100

Thanks for the info, I paid €90 for my camera so It's not really worth it! Any other solution to get it fixed? I wouldn't mind but I don't know if it's set for close ups or anything without the display:(
