Buying a New Basic Laptop - Advice

    Hi folks,

    I want to buy a basic laptop as a second computer for the home. It's only going to be used for web browsing and email etc. and I want it to have a wireless netowrk card.

    Where would I get the best value?

    The options I'm considering are:

    - New basic laptop from DELL
    - Second-hand laptop from boards.ie or buyandsell.net
    - New a-n-other brand basic laptop

    Could people maybe recommend me a decent model for around €600. I want WIFI included.
