Got Tiger Woods yesterday and i have to say its disappointing, it takes ages to get into the game and dont start me on the putting? Maybe its just cos all my attributes are low but i hope it improves as i go, didnt really give it much of a chance tho cos perfect dark is hard tp put down!
    Anyone else purchase it???

I plan on buying this before Xmas hopefully. I have played TW06 on the original xbox and I have to say I liked some of the changes to the gameplay. IMO the putting is far more realistic and challenging than the old method of simply being told where to place the arrow for the direction of your putt.

I was dissapointed to hear they've cut the number of courses from 14 down to 6 though. If I can ever tear myself away from Call of Duty2 I might get to stick in PDZ for a go.

Whats the frame rate like. Is it jerky or smooth?

    From gamestop.com review:

The Good: More challenge adds life to the game; great-looking models and environments; gameface is a tinkerer's dream; load times are pretty quick.
The Bad: Only six courses; frame rate issues crop up here and there; tiger's lost his time-travel powers.

I got it in the post this morning and am happy with what I have seen so far. It will probably take a good while to get the hang of putting etc. I cant seem to connect to the EA servers, anyone else have this problem? Only cost me about 50 euros off ebay anyways ;)

Is anyone suspicious that the main reason behind there only being 6 courses, is down to the fact that there'll be more courses available to download in the future. If so, EA are money robbing so and so's.

Maybe so, but then again nearly all EA's sport releases for the 360 have been cut down versions of the current gen console releases. Madden 06 for example had basically season mode and that was it, compared to the numerous features of the ps2/xbox Madden 06.

One thing that also annoys me about EA is that in the Marketplace, with 99% of all games theres a small preview of the themes/gamer pictures when your about to purchase them so you have an idea of what they look like, yet with EA games there's no preview.

They rushed them into production for the Xbox360 and couldn't create the content fast enough.

I just got Tiger last night and played a quick nine holes on Pebble Beach with my mate and we both thought it was top class. Looks amazing and plays very well too, love that sound when you get your Gamebreaker up high enough to wallop a massive drive into next week. Yep, maybe it is slightly easy, and maybe I just like it cos its the only 360 game I've been reasonably ok at, cos not having much time to play means I get my ass whupped on all the other games :(

If anyones on for some online games of Tiger my tag is 'smutan' so gimme a shout.

I returned this game a few days after buying it. Thought it was absolute rubbish. Very very laggy online aswell

Really? Guess its so far so good for me so it'll be interesting to see if I get bored of it that quick.

Is it a case that you just don't like golf games or do you think this just isn't a good golf game, cos I can't really think of anything else you can do to make it a more fun golf game?

No, what's really disappointing is that I love the Tiger Woods games, I loved this one for a day or two, then it just got really really boring.

Doing Q school to qualify for the PGA Tour really pissed me off. Four rounds of golf against clueless computer opposition. Think I finished 25 shots clear.
