Is this on every sunday in the Fitz??

Never played a freezeout before. Nice cheap way to start against people with bottomless pockets who frequent the re-buy tournies.

I was told it's 4.30pm is this correct??
About how many runners/starting chips are there??

So you know the time, the day,the location, the buy in fee, the freezeout structure....just the chips stacks you need then?

I think I need a rest from boards, I'm getting easily irritated these days.

If I knew that the details I have were correct I wouldn't be asking, now would I. Muppet.

I thought we were going to have an FAQ for these types of questions in light of the search facility being disabled??

Anyway the bottom line this week is that the game won't be going ahead because of the SSF fund raiser and theres a man who'll be along in awhile to answer all your general questions on the game.

I don't see a €30fo on any day of the week...

    http://www.antesup.com/tournaments.php

    Sundays

6pm Fitzwilliam card club - Free entry tournament. €10 unlimited re-buys and add on. Playing for tickets to end of month €250 + €20 tournament. No Limit Holdem.

    8.30pm Fitzwilliam card club - €20 + €5 re-buy. Re-buys €20 each, 1 top up at €20. 3 re-buys or 2 re-buys in the re-buy period and a top up. No Limit Holdem.

Here is the cheapest tourney that is closest to a freezeout:

    Tuesdays

8.30pm Fitzwilliam card club - €50 + €5 Double chance. No Limit Holdem. *Double Chance: Players receive half of their total chips from the start and may take the remainder at any time in the first hour as a rebuy or as an add-on.

Which is why I asked the question in the first place.
Seems the question I asked is marginally more difficult to answer than rocket science. Thanks for the help anyway.

thought the same myself until about an hour ago... but it's back up and running now.

Every Sunday (except this one 11th Dec) there is a €30 freezeout.

Some Sundays it's a shorthanded tournament. 6 per table. Others, it's shootout. Table of 10 plays down to 2. The 2 qualify for the final table.

Starting stack is 4000. Blinds start at 25-50. The clock is 20 mins per level but if the average stack starts getting tight in comparison to the blinds the clock gets extended.

This Sunday is €30 + €20 reg. The big reg fee is for the SSF charity.

It sounds like a good game.

Recently there has been up to 75(ish) players.

    Top prizes in around €700ish.

    Anything else?

This is unecessarily rude. As Lafortezza has pointed out it's a good idea to search the forum for information like this, as if it's related to a tournament in Dublin, there's probably been a thread about it in the past. Culchie's irritation is understandable considering this at least the fifth time he's had to open a thread and look at the same question, which has been answered many times before.

I understand if people get irritated but to then take the time to post a moan about it? Anyway the guide sticky is at the top of the page. It is getting to the stage where folks should be expected to have read that before asking questions. Reading that thread you will find some links. Within those links you will find one pointing to AntesUp's list of tournaments which even if not totally accurate is by a long way the most accurate one available.
So to sum up it's understandable for folks to get annoyed with silly questions, not that understandable for folks to take the time to berate the person who annoyed them by posting the silly question and finally by now nowhere near understandable or acceptable for folks not to have read the sticky guide and hence post silly questions. Lets all get along.
By the way that guide is titled "So you want to play poker...Read this first" not "So you want to play poker...Read this after asking your questions without success"

You're far too sensible Muso, I'm waiting for the day you flip out and call people names and ban everyone willy-nilly.

I think this place should be more like the BW forums, every new poster that asks a question is at best told to use the search function and often given a list of blacklisted casinos they should try out

Yes but there's a very valid reason for that there, which isn't so apparent here. Also it does scare away new poters and contributors to a certain degree. At the same time if you're interested enough in something you should do some work yourself to find out about it, lets try and get along though won't someone please think of the children!
