Hi, I need get a pair of boots for tip-rugby. I assume they'd be just normal rugby boots? Can anyone tell me where i should look in Dublin and how much i could expect to pay?

    Cheers!

A cheap pair of Umbro or Adidas moulded blades for €40 - €60 would do the trick. I use these when the ground is hard or during the summer and they work great.

Personally I wear Umbro Evolution X boots - find them very comfortable and they last most of the season. Also wear Adidas blades.

Steer clear of Kooga boots and Canterbury boots can be a bit heavy. (IMHO)

Champion Sports on Grafton street over the Nike shop have a good selection as do Elverys on Suffolk Street but any sports shop should have them. (lifestyle)

i was in lifestyle in omni earlier on and their football boots are really expensive! (a good few pairs were €150-€200).
you could also try champion in the jervis centre - they've a huge selection. or arnotts also have a few decent pairs too.

for tip rugby any basic football or rugby boot will do, in my opinion stay clear of kooga and canterbury boots,

lighter the boot the better for tip rugby as its mostly about speed anyway ;);)
